Bonnie Bowes

Bonnie Bowes has more than 25 years of healthcare experience working as a front-line nurse, clinical educator, and in progressive management roles. Bonnie currently holds a position as Chief Nursing Officer & VP of Clinical, Quality, Risk and Health Informatics at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. She holds an undergraduate degree in Nursing and a master’s degree in health science as well as clinical specialty certifications in both critical care and cardiovascular Nursing. She has extensive education and experience in hospital management, quality processes, performance measure, and enterprise risk management. Bonnie volunteers on a number of healthcare related committees and has volunteered as a trainer on her kid’s minor hockey teams for many years.
